Teething, Troublemakers, and Tea.
Teething.
I forgot how much I hate teething. Poor Conner. Today has been such a hard day. I've been trying to decipher all day whether or not he's teething, or if he has an ear infection, or both. Now that he's finally settling down, drooling on absolutely everything, and using his soother as a chew toy....I'm pretty sure it's just teething. I gave him some tylenol, and that finally seemed to calm him down a bit. Must be so painful. :(
Troublemakers.
Oh Isaiah. I know you're just trying to find your personality, and you're trying to grow up, but please listen to your mother! I remember talking back to my parents. Mom and Dad, if you're reading this, I'M SO SORRY. Good grief! This sass-mouth business is just not fun. I'm not going to go into this any further, but I do have a pretty good troublemaker story.
Yesterday, I took the kids to go visit my good friend and her 2 little ones, who just so happen to be the same ages as both Isaiah and Conner. Isaiah and the other boy his age play pretty well together. Of course, there's always issues of sharing and yelling, but overall it works out great. We can visit and hold our little babies, and the older kids can play. Well. Yesterday, the boys decided to play outside. Great idea! It was such a nice day, and they have a big yard with a trampoline and a sandbox and a slide...what's not to love! While the boys were outside, my friend and I were talking about their little wading pool, and how the water had gotten all gross because it was a few days old and the dog had been drinking out of it. We didn't really think anything of it, and continued on gabbing. A while later, I went outside to round up Isaiah and get his things together, because we needed to go home. Low and behold, there they were. In the pool. Fully clothed. Completely soaked. And STINKY. (Remember, the water was gross). Needless to say, the boys had a bath. Sigh. Boys!
Tea.
If I don't have a cup (okay, extra large mug) of tea in the morning, I'm a bear. Seriously! I need the caffeine I guess. I should really start drinking coffee.
That's really all I have to say about tea. I just needed another T word to go with my clever blog post title. *Hangs head in shame*
Until next time....xoxoxo
