I received an update from Conner's nurse this morning.
He is doing well. They have bumped him up to what they call 'ad lib demand', meaning that he can eat when he wakes up and acts hungry, and can basically eat as much as he wants. YAY.
They have only been checking his blood sugar levels every other feed (and will now only be checking it once a day, from what I understand) to save his poor bruised feet from any more pain. His last sugar level was 5.2 - which is AMAZING.
He still hasn't had any ultrasounds, and it doesn't sounds like the insulin blood test is back yet either. I wish they would hurry up already.
They have also ordered a hearing test...I have no idea why. Maybe that's just protocol?
Praying to be able to take him home this week...

yay!!! Great news! I think those tests would be standard on babies considered premature... but what do I know. Happy to hear he's doing so much better :)
