One More Day

Well, looks like I have to wait one more day before I can take my baby home.

I feel a little discouraged, but it's nice to know that he will be coming home tomorrow.

I spoke with his nurse a few minutes ago, and he is still doing well. They've been checking his blood sugars and they've all been staying above normal, and aren't dropping much, so that's a good sign. Apparently the "half life" of the medication is pretty strong and could still be in his system, so hopefully today it will be fully out of his system, they can monitor his blood sugar, and we can take him home tomorrow!!

I feel a little discouraged that we can't take him home today. Oh well. We're praying his sugar levels stay good and they let us pick him up tomorrow morning. Rob has the day off tomorrow, so I want to leave asap and take my son home.
