HOME!

FINALY!!!

We brought Conner home this morning!

We are pretty exhausted. This morning consisted of us sitting by the phone waiting for the nurse to call to tell us about Conner's most recent blood sugar. It was good! YAY!

And then she proceeded to tell us that he now needed to pass a carseat test before we went home. What? We were told that he didn't even need one. And now he did.

HE PASSED.

At 10:00 we left for Winnipeg. When we arrived at 11, the nurse taking care of Conner was on break. For another 30 minutes. So we had to wait. It turns out she had just fed him and the wouldn't let us leave for another 30 minutes anyway. But still. Longest 30 minutes of my life.

The nurse then showed me how to bundle blankets around him so that he would actually fit into his carseat because he is TINY - something I hadn't experienced with Isaiah (the 10-pounder).

We are now home. We arrived home at about 1:00 this afternoon. I am over the moon excited to have my little baby home - and am looking forward to what life with 2 boys (okay, 3) is going to bring!

Thanks for all your prayers - I think that's what kept me sane during all of this.
