- A healthy baby growing in my tummy. We had a bit of a scare, with finding what they thought were club feet & something called 'echogenic bowel' on the ultrasound. After sending me for an emergency fetal assessment in Winnipeg yesterday, we found that everything is good. Might be something with the feet...but nothing to be too concerned about. BEST NEWS EVER.
- I have an almost 3 year old boy who is incredibly excited about everything Christmas-related. We can't drive anywhere without Isaiah making sure that we know there are Christmas lights out. In Grunthal, they have put up decorations on each street light on Main Street, and Isaiah tells us what they are every single time we drive by. Granted, the "holly" is (according to Isaiah) a butterfly, and the candle is most definitely "a rocket ship!", but it's very fun. Every morning, we have to make sure we plug in the Christmas tree before we do anything else...haha.
- I will not be in the hospital this Christmas! 2010 was a year of yucky things. I was diagnosed with MS, spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital with migraines, and getting steroid treatments to help ease my MS symptoms. Also, a few weeks before Christmas, I spent 4 days in the hospital with pneumonia...which came back again the day after Christmas, which meant that we missed a family gathering. I was sick sick sick last Christmas. This year, I feel good (I have a cold that just will not go away, but I think I can handle it), and I'm pregnant, and I'm not in the hospital. Yay. :)
