Job Applying? Now? ...Sure, Why Not.

2nd post of the day :)

I applied for a job! It's a very part-time position at the post office here in town. They are looking for someone for 4 hours a week (3 on Saturday, 1 on Monday), and I think I can totally do that. The preferred that applicants apply online, which worked out well for me, because sometimes it's hard to get out of the house during the day (lifting Isaiah into his carseat is very difficult). So I applied, answered some questions, and attached my resume and cover letter.

I found it nice that during the application process, they said that they catered to people of minority groups, & people with disabilities, and that if we we a part of any such category, we should feel free to mention that. So I did. I also mentioned that I was pregnant and would need some time off in April. So we'll see. I put it all out there, and if they want to hire me, the ball is now in their court. The deadline for applying was on Sunday, so I'm eagerly awaiting a phone call or an e-mail regarding the position. 4 hours a week would (I think) be very doable for when the MS kicks back in after the baby is born. I think it's a great opportunity!

Well...if it's meant to be...

I'll keep you all informed. :)
