Nap Time

So it's been a little while since I've blogged about my cute son.... Ha ha!

Nap time is now SO GREAT. I am able to put Isaiah in his crib, stick the soother in his mouth, give him a toy and he (usually) goes right to sleep!! Sometimes it takes a couple times of me going back in there, sticking the soother back in his mouth, taking the blanket off of his face, etc. but he usually is really good. I was so surprised!! I didn't think that would ever happen. Ever. He hasn't quite figured it out for night for some reason, so I still rock him to sleep before he goes to bed for the night. I think rocking is necessary and I don't mind doing it - for now.

Isaiah has also been sleeping through the night a lot better. Instead of the 4:45 am, awake and ready for the day (GROSS) he has been able to sleep til 6:30/7:00. Which I am SO happy about. It's still early, I know, but not AS early. Although, quite often he still wakes up at 4:45/5:00/5:15...when Rob gets up to go to work. I have to go put the soother in his mouth (what would I do without that soother!?!!) and he goes back to sleep. Sometimes. I guess some kids are just light sleepers. I know I am. Rob, however, could sleep through EVERYTHING. And I mean everything.

Speaking of nap time...sounds like it's over. Good thing Dad is home and I can continue blogging!

Here are a couple of recent pictures.

I can't believe he will be 7 months old next Sunday. I almost don't even remember what he was like as a newborn. And I thought THAT stage would never end...
This is pretty rare. He can hardly ever sit in that Bumbo properly. I think his torso is too long. He just ends up keeling over - usually forward, grabbing his feet, which is something he loves to do as you can see in the next picture.
Isaiah LOVES his feet. Sometimes when I'm feeding him both of his hands are grabbing his feet and he just lies on my lap in a big ball. He's so weird.
