Conner is already 3 months old!! What in the world? I'm not sure how that happened. He all of a sudden doesn't fit into 'newborn' clothes anymore, and we're full out in 0-3 month stuff now. He even wears some 3-6 month stuff that has been shrunk over the years. I can hardly believe. Isaiah was never this small. Isaiah was born a 3 month old.
Right now we are dealing with a bit of colic. I say a bit, because I don't want to over-exaggerate, but during the times where he cries and won't settle...I would like to say he's EXTREMELY colicky. Makes me feel like less of a bad mother, you know? It's okay. He's just got colic. He'll be fine. *sigh*
I've got a few tricks up my sleeve that seem to help though, including the cradle swing, gripe water, and ovol drops, not necessarily in that order. :)
Isaiah is just growing like a weed too. Incredible. He actually just started going to the bathroom by himself! This is huge. He will go, turn on the light, take his pants and underwear off, go pee, flush, and wash his hands. YAY. Of course, he still needs me to help him when...well...when he needs to be wiped. Or in his words, "Mom! The toilet splashed me again!"
Isaiah will be starting preschool in the fall!! Makes me want to cry a little!! I figured he needed to be in something. He can probably be in preschool for 2 years, because he'll be almost 6 by the time he goes to Kindergarten, and he's going to be SO BORED. Plus, I want him to get used to the structure of school, and getting along with other kids and stuff. I'm very excited about it - and he is too.
In other news...I'm going to be 26 on Sunday. I thought I just graduated. Sigh. 6 years ago, I NEVER thought I would be married with 2 kids at the age of 26. Time flies.
Life with MS is proving to have good days and bad days. Injection treatments are going...as well as they can. I don't like giving myself a needle every day, but if this is going to make the difference of me walking for another 25 years, I'm going to take it. I have one more dose of the IVIG (right after my birthday) and then I should be all done with that. I don't want to have to do that again. IVIG is NOT FUN. It makes me sick, and well, if you're a mother, you know that we are not allowed to be sick. :)
Okay, time to tend to Mr. Colic, and get Mr. I'm-Always-Hungry a snack. Have a happy day! xoxo....
