Be Still & Know

I realize I haven't put much of an update about my MS on here, so here you go.

After my most recent MRI, I was called in to see the neurologist "ASAP" (said his receptionist).

Upon meeting with the doctor, he re-confirmed that I, in fact, do have Multiple Sclerosis. He could hardly look me in the eye as he told me, and apologized that he didn't have better news.
He started me on a 3-day course of IV steroids, followed by 10 days of oral prednisone, which I have now completed. I am now waiting to hear from the MS Clinic in Winnipeg about starting injection treatments with a medication called Copaxone.

He went on to say that he couldn't understand how I was feeling as good as I am feeling. According to the MRI, which was full of more lesions, many of which were active, I shouldn't even be walking as well as I am. He says it's unexplainable.

I say it's God.

"Be still and know that I am God..." Psalm 46:10
