Update

Hello all my faithful blog readers.

You may remember a couple posts back, where I voiced my frustration with the fact that my specialist appointment didn't go as well as I had hoped.

Well

I received a phone call this past Friday from the hospital, saying that I was to come in on Monday for an MRI! I was completely shocked. I was only supposed to find out about the appointment date via MAIL in 4-6 WEEKS! I was very thankful, and Rob was able to get off work to take me in.

It was brutal. It was 35 minutes in a very claustrophobic machine, with braces all around me so that I couldn't move. They also injected me with dye this time so that they could see into my veins. It was very non-invasive...just scary. If you've never had an MRI before, know that they are LOUD!!! They shoved earplugs into my ears and towels around my head and it was STILL almost unbearable. So loud that you could FEEL it. But I survived and am hoping to hear back about the results SOON!

Always keeping you posted,
KF
