Hi, my name is Kara and I love cleaning.
Hmm. Tell me which part of that sentence is correct. You're right! My name really IS Kara. Who knew?
Anyway...so I decided to tackle the master bathroom today. What a nightmare. I continually put off cleaning this bathroom, because in my opinion, "nobody sees it anyway". It's bad enough that when we have company coming over I am frantically scurrying around the house trying to quickly tidy things up...and whatever doesn't have a 'place' or I just 'don't know what to do with it', it gets thrown into our bedroom, and the door remains closed.
I am very happy to announce that the master bathroom is now CLEAN. Like, top to bottom clean. I even washed the floor on my hands and knees. Who knew so much hairspray could attract so much dust. Gross gross gross.
Having MS means not having a ton of energy a lot of the time. Today I had enough energy to clean the bathroom, and now here I sit at the computer with a magic bag around my right leg because it KILLS. It sucks, but I'm learning to deal with it. I am super thankful that I have a great husband who is always willing to help out. (Even when he is sick-as-a-dog with a cold...bless your soul, Rob Friesen).
In other news, I was in the hospital last week Thursday night. I ended up with a terrible migraine that came on very suddenly, and my magic medication was not doing anything. The nausea became more than I could bear, and long story short, was taken in to the hospital with serious dehydration after not being able to keep anything down. I've come to determine that migraines can definitely be part of MS, so now at least I know WHY I have been getting migraines for half of my life.
That's my life this week! We're heading out to Grand Beach with some friends of ours to camp this long weekend. I'm not a camper...oy...wish me luck.
