Food For Thought

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called... (1 Pet. 3:9).

Boy. That's hard to read...

We were in a different church last weekend with my parents, and the pastor spoke about "Changing your Character."
He spoke lots on this verse. We are called to BLESS people. Nobody said that being a Christian was going to be easy, and if someone did tell you that, they lied. If someone is mean to you, or insults you, or accuses you of something you KNOW you didn't do...we are supposed to turn around a bless them. That's what we are called to do! That's so hard!!
