Update

Well, I finally got a hold of my neurologist. Okay, only his secretary, but close enough, right?

She seemed to have "lost" the letter that my family doctor had sent over...super. But she found it, and said she would bring it to my neuro's attention right away and put me on the cancellation list! Yay!
Hopefully this cancellation list will help me to get in to see him sooner. Hopefully.
One thing I hope to talk to the neurologist about is starting some sort of medication. I have done a 5-day prednisone (steroid) treatment, but I really don't want to have to do steroids again.
They made me hallucinate (among other things) and I don't want to scare Rob like that again.
I've been researching meds that I can be on that will help slow down my MS and hopefully help me to feel better. The one that seems to make the most sense right now is Avonex. It's a needle I would have to inject into my leg (myself...) once a week. So scary. I have a fear of needles...guess it's time to get over that one. From the research that I have done, it looks like this would be the best medication to start with.
...
*sigh*
I'm still in denial. Yeah, because THAT makes sense...arrrg.
