First Family Trip

We just got back (yesterday) from our first family trip to Saskatoon! I bet you are all wondering why I am posting so soon. I bet you are also asking yourself "Doesn't she have a ton of laundry and unpacking to do?" The answer is yes. But I'm too lazy. So I'm going to blog instead.

Isaiah turned out to be a great traveller! He had his moments where he was just getting sick and tired of sitting in his carseat and wanted to be held - but hey, I don't blame him. Sitting in the car for hours on end is extremely boring, never mind being in a harness. I would definitely do it again.

My cousin Tamarah took some amazing photos of Isaiah as well. I will post some once I get my hands on them. She needed to edit them, so she will be sending the picture CD back with my parents (who are still in SK for another week). I'm very excited about them! Tamarah is SO talented.

I was very excited to be able to see my Auntie Doreen and cousins Natascha, Cambria & Sezja for a very short time. They arrived at around lunch time on the 4th, and we needed to leave early morning on the 5th, so we only got to see them for about half a day. I hadn't seen them since Rob and I got married in October 2007. That's what made "goodbye time" on the morning we left SO much harder. I am SO emotional at the best of times when it comes to leaving, and this time was no different. Well, it might have been a little worse. I thought I would be able to hold back my tears...and then I hugged my Auntie Doreen. We are pretty much the same - super fair skinned, and super emotional. Whatever. We are AWESOME. I think I cried off and on all the way from Saskatoon to Regina and then I cried again once we got home. I'm a big suck.

So anyway, we are home now, safe and sound. I will be posting pictures here eventually..they are up on facebook already if you are interested.
